Q3: How do I properly clean and maintain my SPC flooring?
A3: For maintaining immaculate SPC flooring, use a non-rinsing cleaner that leaves no residue, along with a mop, for dirt that sweeping or vacuuming doesn't eliminate. Avoid abrasive cleaners, oil-based products, or dish detergents to preserve the flooring's pristine condition.
Q4: Can I walk on my SPC floor and mop it immediately after installation?
A4: We recommend refraining from walking on your newly installed SPC floor for at least 24 hours. However, you are welcome to mop the floor right after installation to maintain its fresh appearance.
Q5: How do I repair a chip or scratch in my vinyl flooring?
A5: While chips and deep scratches in SPC flooring are typically irreversible, they can be cleverly concealed. To remove scuff marks, gently rub a drop of mineral spirits, turpentine, paint thinner, or baby oil on the mark. Follow up by wiping the scuff with a soft cloth, and ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned with a damp cloth thereafter to remove any residual solution.
