Q3: How do I properly clean and maintain my SPC flooring?
A3: For persistent dirt that resists sweeping or vacuuming, use a non-rinsing cleaner that leaves no residue and pair it with a mop. Avoid abrasive cleaners, oil-based products, or dish detergents to maintain your floor's pristine condition.
Q4: Can I walk on my SPC floor and mop it immediately after installation?
A4: We advise against walking on your SPC floor for at least 24 hours post-installation. However, you may proceed to mop your floor immediately.
Q5: How do I repair a chip or scratch in my vinyl flooring?
A5: While chips and deep scratches in SPC flooring cannot be entirely removed, they can be artfully concealed. To eliminate scuff marks, gently rub a drop of mineral spirits, turpentine, paint thinner, or baby oil over the affected area. Use a soft cloth to wipe the scuff away, ensuring the SPC floor is thoroughly cleaned with a damp cloth afterwards to remove any leftover residue from these solutions.
