Q3: How do I properly clean and maintain my SPC flooring?
A3: To effectively maintain the pristine condition of your SPC flooring, use a non-rinsing cleaner that leaves no residue in conjunction with a mop for dirt that can't be lifted with a sweep or vacuum. Steer clear of abrasive cleaners, oil-based cleaners, or dish detergents to preserve the floor's finish.
Q4: Can I walk on my SPC floor and mop it immediately after installation?
A4: It is advisable to refrain from walking on your freshly installed SPC floor for at least 24 hours. However, mopping the floor immediately after installation is perfectly acceptable.
Q5: How do I repair a chip or scratch in my vinyl flooring?
A5: While chips and deep scratches in SPC flooring are challenging to remove, they can be effectively camouflaged. For scuff marks, gently rub a small amount of mineral spirits, turpentine, paint thinner, or baby oil over the mark. Subsequently, remove the scuff with a soft cloth, ensuring to thoroughly cleanse the SPC floor with a damp cloth afterwards to remove any residual solution.
